| Summary: |
12-Chapters. Gene Autry, the manager of Radio Ranch, is framed for murder by Professor Beetson who wishes to gain control of the valuable radium deposit at the ranch. Besides the radium, hidden deep beneath the earth is the lost civilization of Murania, ruled by the ruthless Queen Tika. Autry stumbles across the hidden city and is repeatedly taken prisoner underground, although he always manages to escape to deliver his daily radio broadcasts. Teeming with futuristic weaponry, the underground civilization is destroyed when a death ray goes out of control. Of note in the movie is Betsy King Ross, a champion horse rider who performs amazing riding feats.
