| Summary: |
At a request from Johnny, Hopalong comes to his ranch to attempt to discover who is rustling his cattle. He suspects Dan Slack, and gets a job at his ranch. Slack discovers who he is and frames him for murder. In the end, he is cleared and discovers that the stolen cattle are being kept at Sam Bucktoe's mine.
