| Summary: |
Joan Leslie and Vera Ralston are two women headed to California in a wagon train. Along the way, Joan's husband is killed. While Joan hopes for a new husband and a new life, Vera finds work as an entertainer/barkeeper. Adding to the movie is Victor Young’s rich and vibrant musical score.
